My Angel

Posted : 15 years, 10 months ago on 4 June 2008 06:20 (A review of Dr. Airola's Practical Guide to Holistic Health)

I used Paavo Airola's Every Woman's Book to guide me to prepare my body for pregnancy. I had a wonderful pregnancy, no sickness, no cravings, no problems. It was delightful. I used Paavo's recommendations to be sure I was as healthy as I could be before conception and you can see how beautiful my daughter is. She was and is a delight. She was pleasant, cheerful and even tempered. She didn't suffer from the illnesses that other children did.

I cried and cried when Paavo died. He was one of our strongest nutritional protectors.

I know there are newer books out there, but I can tell you the information in this one really does work!

The Language of Silence

Posted : 15 years, 10 months ago on 25 May 2008 01:54 (A review of The language of silence)

Heartwarming, delightful and inspiring.

If you have ever felt like giving up, feeling like there is no wonder left in life, read this book and look again. J. Allen Boone teaches us to look and listen with our hearts. He even teaches us to communicate with our hearts. I am so grateful.

My world has been filled with wonder ever since learning to see the world the way J. Allen Boone did.

Life Changing

Posted : 15 years, 10 months ago on 25 May 2008 01:41 (A review of Adventures in kinship with all life)

I love this J. Allen Boone's work. He brings a wonder in life that most people never get.

His books are delightful to read and surprisingly true. I recommend them to anyone who wants to live in a better world. You will find out it really is possible.

Many would say this was a man before his time, but I say, when does Love and Honor know time limits?

When you are through with this you will be glad to know he wrote more. I have Language of Silence and it is just as wonderful!10/10

Laughter for now, lessons for life

Posted : 15 years, 10 months ago on 18 May 2008 02:40 (A review of The Baroness and the Butler)

I love this movie because the Butler takes pride in who he is and all he does. He is patient with the Baroness as she learns to respect others no matter what their station in life!

It is an old black and white movie, but I make it a practice to show this movie to children in hopes that the lessons will melt in slowly. I want to encourage them to take pride in all they do, as long as it is honorable.

(I do have to discuss the ending of the first marriage with those brought up against divorce.)

Enjoy.

Healing with truth and humor

Posted : 15 years, 10 months ago on 18 May 2008 02:03 (A review of The Couch Trip)

I really like how this movie brings forth the concept that truth with humor can really be healing and a lot of the so called professionals aren't always working for our best interests!

I must say this represents how I live my life -- without the deception or the colorful language. :o)
